I went to Kuala Lumpur recently for a few days, stayed in an airbnb quite central. They had this KONE elevator, that made me smile as it reminded me about the good old days in my old apartment.
The building is a few years old and it shows, but the elevators are still in fairly decent condition. There are 38 floors plus S and LG, totally 40floors.

As in many apartment buidling you have to scan an access card before you can press the floor buttons, which is annoying. It can take anywhere from 1 to 4 seconds to get a successful scan, which is annoying. Apart from this, the ride is quite pleasant and smooth.
The 4, 14, 24 and 34 floors are renamed 3A, 23A etc as 4 is an unlucky number in chinese. But gladly I was staying at floor 33 so didn't have to consider this.

Overall a quite pleasant elevator experience for what I was expecting from a ~$45 airbnb.
